Bunga Tahniah

What type of congratulatory flowers should I give?

Congratulatory flowers should be chosen based on the occasion and the recipient, but most people prefer bright, vibrant tones to convey joyful energy and wishes for success. Vietnamese people often believe that sunflowers symbolize reaching for success, money flowers symbolize wealth, while orchids represent appreciation and class. Congratulatory flowers can be used for many events: promotions, housewarmings, grand openings, product launches, winning awards, or achieving significant milestones.

Congratulatory flowers for each occasion

• Promotion, success: premium orchids or a luxurious flower arrangement.
• Grand opening, launch: flower arrangements for grand openings in red or yellow tones.
• Personal celebration, winning: a bouquet of sunflowers or cheerful money flowers.

What flowers should be avoided for congratulations?

For joyful occasions, Vietnamese people often avoid entirely white flowers (white chrysanthemums, white lilies) as they are associated with funerals, along with dark purple or black flowers that evoke sadness. Congratulatory flowers at Flosa typically range from 900k to 2.2 million, with larger arrangements exceeding 4 million.
