What is a fresh flower bouquet?

A fresh flower bouquet consists of flower stems wrapped in paper or fabric and secured at the base, designed to be held in hand and directly given to the recipient. This is the most popular and romantic style, often chosen for confessions of love, birthday gifts, graduations, or congratulations.

How long does a fresh flower bouquet last?

A hand-held bouquet is not placed in water, and the flower stems are only kept moist with paper and cotton, so they last shorter than baskets and boxes that have foam to retain water. In the hot weather of Ho Chi Minh City, after giving the bouquet, you should cut the stems at an angle and place them immediately in a clean vase of water, keeping them in a cool place away from sunlight — the bouquet will stay fresh for an additional 4–5 days.

Should I choose a bouquet, basket, or box?

• Flower bouquet: hand-delivered, romantic — suitable for confessions of love, birthdays, graduations.
• Flower basket: has a handle, stands firm on tables — suitable for visiting, gifting to the elderly.
• Flower box: luxurious, maintains a beautiful shape — suitable for sending far away, making formal gifts.
