FAQ

What should I give on 14 February in Vietnam?
Red roses above all; then blush and pastel mixes, tulips, elegant flower boxes, preserved flowers, and roses paired with chocolate. The stem count carries meaning: 1 (only you), 9 (forever), 12 (complete), 99 or 100 (a hundred years).
How far ahead should I order?
Three to seven days. Red roses are scarcer and dearer on 14 February than on any other day of the Vietnamese year. Ordering early holds the price and the delivery slot. Flosa sends a photo of the real flowers before delivery.
How many roses should I give?
By meaning: 1 (the only one), 3 (I love you), 9 (forever), 12 (complete), 99 (lasting), 100 (a hundred years). Choose by feeling and by budget; a written card counts for more than an extra ten stems.
Can a woman give flowers to a man here?
Yes, and it is increasingly common in Vietnam. Choose stronger, restrained tones, sunflowers, red roses, plenty of green, or flowers with wine or chocolate, rather than a soft pastel bouquet.
