About Funerals — condolence and memorial flowers

Condolence flowers are an offering sent to the funeral to show respect for the person who has died and to stand with the family. The register is solemn, never showy: white leads, with greenery. Two forms are usual — a standing wreath for the funeral hall, and a smaller basket when you come in person — each with a sash carrying the words of condolence and the sender’s name.
