What is wax flower? Is it real flower?

Wax flower is not fresh flower but an artificial flower, usually made from wax or soft material infused with fragrance, shaped with soft, smooth, thin petals that are almost lifelike. Unlike paper or silk flowers, wax flowers look real and also have a gentle fragrance emanating from the scented layer.

How long do wax flowers last?

Since they are not fresh flowers, wax flowers do not wilt, maintaining their beauty for several months to years without needing water or care. This is their greatest advantage over fresh flowers: in the hot weather of Ho Chi Minh City, a bouquet of wax flowers remains intact while fresh flowers usually wilt after a few days. Just avoid direct sunlight and dust to keep the petals' color longer.

Do wax flowers have a scent?

Yes. The petals of wax flowers are scented, giving off a gentle fragrance like perfume. This scent usually fades after a few months, so display them in a sheltered place away from sunlight to preserve the fragrance longer — one reason many people choose wax flowers as keepsake gifts.

When to gift wax flowers?

Thanks to their durability, wax flowers are suitable for birthdays, anniversaries, Valentine's Day, and grand openings to convey lasting wishes. If you want a more unique gift, you can also check out money flowers.
