Opening blomme

What flowers should be given for a grand opening?

For a grand opening, it is advisable to give flowers in warm colors that symbolize good luck and prosperity. Vietnamese people often believe that sunflowers always face the sun, representing wealth and success; money plants suggest financial gain and good business; orchids convey elegance and perfection; while yellow chrysanthemums and red roses are bright and auspicious. This is why grand opening flower arrangements almost always feature red, yellow, and orange as the main colors.

Flowers to choose for a grand opening

• Sunflowers: symbolize wealth, always aiming for the good — suitable for shops, restaurants, and startups.
• Money plants: represent wealth, money flowing in abundantly, with eye-catching red and orange colors.
• Premium orchids: luxurious and perfect — ideal for gifting to partners or for company openings.
• Yellow chrysanthemums and red roses: auspicious, bright, and easy to arrange in multi-tiered displays.

Which flowers should be avoided for a grand opening?

Vietnamese people usually avoid entirely white flower arrangements such as white chrysanthemums and white lilies, as they are associated with funerals and mourning; it is also advisable to steer clear of dark purple or black flowers that evoke sadness. Grand opening flower arrangements at Flosa typically range from 1.2 to 3 million VND, with smaller arrangements starting from 600,000 VND, and larger double-tiered arrangements for big companies costing up to 6-7 million VND.

If you need flowers for a broader occasion than just a grand opening, check out congratulation flowers; if you want a more compact arrangement, consider flower baskets or grand opening flower baskets. Flosa arranges flowers close to the event time, delivers quickly within 2 hours in downtown inner Ho Chi Minh City, and sends a real photo before delivery.
