A fresh flower basket is a collection of flower stems arranged in a water-retaining foam block placed inside a basket with a handle. Thanks to the convenient handle and the stable base of the basket, it can be placed directly on a table, shelf, or bedside without the need for a vase, making it very convenient for gifting and displaying.

Fresh flower baskets can last 5–6 days because the foam in the basket continuously keeps the flower stems moist, making them more durable than hand-held bouquets. In the hot weather of Ho Chi Minh City, you should place the basket in a cool, shaded area and add water to the foam daily to keep the flowers fresh longer.

It is better to choose a flower basket when visiting a sick person: the basket with a handle is compact and has a stable base, allowing it to be placed directly on a table or bedside without needing to find a vase, plus it comes with foam that keeps the flowers fresh for a few days. A hand-held bouquet is more suitable for direct gifting.

Fresh flower baskets at Flosa start at around 450,000 VND, with popular prices ranging from 700,000 to 1,200,000 VND depending on the type of flowers and the size of the basket. For the same amount of flowers, baskets usually start at a slightly higher price than bouquets due to the additional cost of the basket frame and the water-retaining foam.
